Southwest Health and Human Services currently has an opening for a Fiscal Officer in any of our office locations, which include, Ivanhoe, Marshall, Slayton, Redwood Falls, Pipestone or Luverne.

The primary purposes of this position are to: 1) Assist the Fiscal Manager in processing of purchase of service contracts; 2) Audits the receipting and dispersal of several funds available to a public health and human services agency; 3) Interprets and prepares multiple fiscal statistical reports; 4) Maintains financial compliance records and reports; 5) Develop and maintain automated accounting procedures; 6) Prepare various reports
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, or equivalent, and completion of two years of training in accounting courses in a business school, college/university and one year of experience as an account clerk in a social services or healthcare agency;
or
- Graduation from a four-year college with a degree in accounting or related business field with accounting emphasis. Additional education can be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis

Starting Rate of Pay: $28.61 – $39.17 hourly
