Internship Opportunities

Southwest Health and Human Services offer internship opportunities for post-secondary students.

The student should be seeking a county social service internship experience while enrolled in a bachelors or masters level program.

The student should be seeking an information technology internship experience while enrolled in an associates or bachelors level program.

Interested Applicants

Interested applicants should send a resume with a cover letter to SWHHS to the attention of Social Service Division Director, 607 West Main, Suite 100, Marshall MN 56258.

Your Resume

The resume should list contact information and previous work and volunteer experience, whether or not it is related to social services. The cover letter should identify the program areas in which the student is interested, number of hours required for the internship, college or university attending and field of study, dates of the internship, preferred office location, and any specific requirements of the internship, such as a research project or education level of the internship supervisor.

SWHHS will review the paperwork to determine if an internship opportunity will meet the needs of the student as well as the agency. Candidates may be asked to come in for an interview before final selection.
