Southwest Health and Human Services (SWHHS) currently has an opening for a Public Health Nurse, Registered Nurse or Registered Dietician in our Marshall location.  This exciting career gives nurses the opportunity to work directly within our communities to educate people and give them the tools they need to improve health outcomes for themselves, for their family and their community.  The best public health nurses are excellent communicators and critical thinkers.  They are also enthusiastic, able to attend to multiple priorities, flexible, and have a genuine interest in impacting lives and influencing change.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PHN:  Certification as a public health nurse (PHN) in Minnesota and current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota. Will allow 90 days to receive PHN Certification.
  • RN:  Associates degree in Nursing and current Registered Nurse license with Minnesota Board of Nursing.
  • RD:  Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and current registration with the American Dietetic Association.

Starting Rate of Pay:     

  • PHN:  starting at $27/hour
  • RD:  starting at $24.84/hour
  • RN:  starting at $23.61/hour
