Foods, Pools, and Lodging Program

Licensing and Inspection of Food, Beverage and Lodging Establishments:
Southwest Health and Human Services is delegated by the Minnesota Department of Health to license and inspect food, pools and lodging establishments in Lincoln, Murray, Pipestone and Rock Counties.

Certified Food Manager:
Establishments licensed by Southwest Health and Human Services are required to employ a state certified food manager. Food Manager Certification is administered by the Minnesota Department of Health.

Temporary Food Stand Licensing:
Serving food to the public at special events such as fairs or city celebrations requires a license.

Licensing and Inspection of Manufactured Home Parks and Recreational Camping Areas:
Southwest Health and Human Services is delegated by the Minnesota Department of Health to license and inspect manufactured home parks and recreational camping areas in Lincoln, Murray, Pipestone and Rock Counties. Beginning January 1, 2017 Southwest Health and Human Services will license and inspect manufactured home parks and recreational camping area in Lyon and Redwood Counties.
